These dates are a decadent, whole‑food treat that’s sweet, salty, creamy, and rich; the best part is it only takes minutes to make. It’s my go‑to whenever I’m craving something sweet, and the texture is so reminiscent of cookie dough. It hits that dessert spot while still feeling nourishing and intentional.

Ingredients:

  • 8–12 Medjool Dates, Pitted

  • 2–3 tbsp Grass‑fed Butter (softened)

  • 1/4 cup Dark Chocolate, Melted

  • 1–2 tbsp Tahini

  • Pinch of Flaky Sea Salt (optional)

  • Sprinkle of Sesame Seeds or Chopped Nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the dates: Slice each date lengthwise and remove the pit if not already pitted.

  2. Stuff with butter: Add a small amount of softened grass‑fed butter into the center of each date.

  3. Melt the chocolate. Gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals.

  4. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the stuffed dates, followed by a swirl of tahini.

  5. Finish: Top with flaky sea salt, sesame seeds, or chopped nuts if desired.

  6. Chill (optional): Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes if you prefer a firmer chocolate shell.
